WoW, I am surprised how other readers are reacting similarly to what I had thought of this piece as well. Men are disposable in the whole scheme of things in Afghanistan and elsewhere? This convoluted feminist point of view to garner a few more dollars from NGO's has been a play in Pakistan for a long time as well. The great torch bearers of democracy after the fall of Taliban who had been allies with the NATO forces had been keeping kids as sex slaves (boys in particular) - (https://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/21/world/asia/us-soldiers-told-to-ignore-afghan-allies-abuse-of-boys.html).

Then there is the Hollywood depiction of US ally Abdul Rashid Dostum who can be defined worst than an animal in the movie (https://www.thehindu.com/entertainment/movies/12-strong-review-when-fiction-wins-over-facts/article22473430.ece). This beast had single handedly suffocated thousands of prisoners in shipping containers.

Get off the curry wagon and start writing of facts please. We live in the countries being bombarded with real weapons decimating everything rather than sitting in some cushy office and blogging crocodile tears for the love of women.
