I am not a writer, I am an eccentric who gets a burst of energy to tap my fingers on a computer keyboard while thoughts spread out like broken beads in a necklace. I tried my hand at writing a novel during one of my darkest periods and something did appear in the end. Thousands of words were assembled in chapters that no one wanted to read. Bad grammar, disconnected dialogues and lost thoughts.

Here at medium, I just want to deposit those chapters to make sure that this effort isn't lost. Read it at your own peril if you like, one chapter at a time from a mind that had been clouded with stress and darkness.

This book is a culmination of conversations between two friends, Adnan Ahmed Chaudhry & Kazi Najib Ashraf, both from Lahore in Pakistan; went to the same school, same college, both trained as Electrical Engineers although from separate institutions and then took to the seas of professional lives working for various Multinational & Regional Organizations. The discussions on the human condition, professional working environments and career paths gained strength initially after the death of a fellow class fellow, Zahoor Elahi followed by a long stretch of silence where we both…
