Born in North West Algeria, I was schooled and went on to university. I then decided to go to Finland, despite the pessimism of my family. Things didn’t work out, so I came back to Algeria and studied Psychology.
Shall I go back to Europe as I found it tough running a business in Algeria? A cousin based in Dubai invited me to come to UAE, it was June 2014, but I wasn’t sure. I arrived and saw so many people, it was crowded and diverse, people from all nationalities. After 3 weeks of looking for a job, some people said to me I am in the wrong place, I felt lonely and lost hope.
Then got a call from an institute for a training supervisor, they believed in me and hired me and I moved to various leadership roles over the years.
