This is a great depiction of a situation in several organizations where the person raising a red flag is identified as a troublemaker. A prime example had been Tyler Shultz from Theranos who was ostracized for identifying serious loopholes and problems in the blood testing startup.
An organizational culture of “All is Well” and “Don’t Rock The Boat” results in a demoralized team who would either leave or keep quiet for the fear of getting reprimanded.
