A trend is a general direction in which something is developing or changing. During our continuous quest for collecting narrations from across the Middle East, Africa and Asia we observed certain trends that are uniform, homogeneous and carry a winning spirit.
The ideal representation of these trends can be best described by the word Ubuntu. This is an ancient African word meaning ‘humanity to others’. It is often described as reminding us that ‘I am what I am because of who we all are’. In short, this is the essence of “We are all in this together”.
And hence we are able to extract the following messages from across regions, functions and industries:

- Teamwork
- Gratitude
- Empathy
While the overwhelming emphasis today is on individualism, one man for himself and personal glory; the stories we have collected and are still publishing bring forth the beauty defined by Ubuntu.
