COVID-19, Corona, SARS-Cov-2 and other names had no meaning for the world and suddenly engulfed us all like wildfire. Lives were turned upside down, dreams lost & an accompanying deluge of despair. Professions kept close to the heart lost their meaning-affecting millions of individuals. Layoffs and cutbacks pushed people towards untold challenges that only surfaced in the form of stories and that too in a trickle. Some people broke, literally shattered and never recovered when the wheels came off while others persevered.

This is the story of one such individual who lived the above quote from Rocky Balboa. Omar Ahmad had a cushy job at a premium airline with unmatched facilities and a tailwind guiding his career and then Covid hit and international travel came to a halt forcing scores of individuals to lose their positions. This is Omar Ahmad relating his career transformation:
