Here is a story from Saboohi Elahi, who shares her journey of how teamwork, trust, respect and nurturing relationships are key when delivering key deadlines.

In 2014, I was fortunate to have worked in an extremely diverse environment, part of the successful Marketing team which lead Doha-Hamad Airport and Qatar Airways to become the best Airport and Airline in the world.

My next role led me to FIFA World Cup 2022 Media Team — I was tasked to lead all media activities across the World Cup for every FIFA Sponsor and Host Country.

A highly sensitive and high-profile project, with the eyes of the entire world on Qatar and the Arab world.

Execution of multiple campaigns at one time, for each of the FIFA Commercial Sponsors — also annual media launches, activations, and campaigns.

One such project required us to find new ways of working and a more collaborative approach that required trust and commitment to deliver the project.

There are times when protocol and process can hinder, and we have to rise above to deliver and make things happen — you have to adapt. The ‘100 Days to go’ Campaign was scheduled to launch to mark the countdown to FIFA.
