…..We continue the narration from Lokesh Mishra where we had left off.

Keeping the labour community in mind I started Bhojpuriya restaurant in Muhaisnah 2 (Fondly called Sonapur in Dubai) which is one of the biggest and oldest labour camps in Dubai. The journey was not easy as I didn’t have any experience in the F&B Industry but purely passion for food and serving people. As soon as I started my restaurant, I got hit by Covid in 2020 where we were asked to shut down the dining area, but it worked in my favour and quickly I started a Tiffin service for the Labour community with a stringent time of delivery of meals at 4 am in the morning so that they can carry their lunch box (Home cooked style). I became popular in the community servicing a cost-effective meal (AED 3 per meal for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) and of course, the volume helped me to sustain my operations.

The corona situation was getting worst, but my Tiffin service was growing in popularity and thereafter no turning back. Gradually the corona situation got normalized with the introduction of the vaccine and we started the dining service for the customers where we service the North Indian Biryanis and many more cuisine from Bihar and UP today it is running very well with the Grace of God and the support of the loyal customers in Sonapur. Again, I would like to highlight…
