We come across miracles every day, from breathing to even being able to move, all is usually taken for granted. If we look, there are miracles everywhere and this story from Kiran Varri — CCXP touches upon a similar incident.
It was on a hot Saturday in mid-September 2022. I went to my office (taking advantage of the proximity to home) and worked till Mid-day. At lunchtime, I was exiting the office and was surprised to see a young man leaving the lift. It was a weekend and there was no other office on our floor. Who could he have come for?
He was in a suit and was carrying a laptop bag. Out of curiosity, I enquired who had he come for. He mentioned he came to do a follow-up regarding a job he applied for at this very office. I told him that Saturday was a holiday and that he can come on Monday now. While in the lift he asked my name and what I do. I responded but was apprehensive because I recalled HR mentioning that the position had been filled.
Once I reached home, it struck me: Why not check with HR and reconfirm if that opening was now closed. I called the HR Manager and she mentioned that the person who they were expecting did not show up.
