I was born and raised in this neighbourhood; twenty years were spent making a life for me. A lower middle-class area surrounded by a shanty town, open sewers, heaps of trash and a lot of cricket. The place however it was, it had been home. My father was a government clerk and my mother was a stay at home housewife taking care of me and my six siblings, we were always hated for bearing too many kids as a community but when you have nothing to do then you do something to keep yourself busy and this resulted in a population blossom for my community across the country. We grew up being hated and knew our inferior position in the society. The one thing I had always dreamed was to escape this misery, take my family away from this hell hole, somewhere clean and tidy like the places they show it in the movies. Ah yes, the movies, I loved these few hours of escape in the dingy cinema halls lining the main street, a place to hide and zapped in a new world. I would become the hero and save the damsel in distress; fight the hundred gangsters on my own and become the winner of every competition. I also knew that education was one of ensuring the escape, so I studied and studied hard, graduating in computer science from a local University and had been waiting for my final report. I created an App to connect the various milkmen from my area and provided them with a solution for a business with central distribution and online sales. I…
