My name is Kazi Najib Ashraf, I am a Business Development Professional focusing on the Middle East & Africa region, I am an author and a Storyteller who is passionately in search of the next big challenge. Being a Story Alchemist, I help visionaries let go of their Armor, step into their truth, and become unapologetically aligned to their purpose, theirimpact, and their legacy so that their story is not only told and shared, but embodied and consciously lived. I create avenues through shared values to opennew dimensions and markets.
I have had the unique of working across Middle East and Africa in leadership positions for both Blue Chip conglomerates such as Siemens AG and Philips as well as regional players that focused on B2B, distribution and channel management. This magic mix of understanding the complexities of the business world from both sides of the spectrum provided me distinctive insights to foster relationships across industries and regions.
I started working from the age of nineteen as a Research Assistant at the University of Houston’s “Texas Centre of Superconductivity” and maneuvered the corporate world working for the likes of Philips and Siemens AG holding regional leadership positions across Middle East and Africa & other regional distribution partners. I have had a good fortune of visiting and workiing in every country of the Middle East and North Africa and key markets in East, West, and South Africa as well. Working across cultures and markets taught me resilience, ushered wisdom, and nurtured relationships. For the past six years, I am associated as a partner and Principal Consultant with Playtorium Technical Services LLC, a boutique Firm specializing in Business Development, Business Reengineering, Research and Channel Management across Industries. From establishing Apple Inc Service and Retail facilities in Iraq, Distribution of Gaming brands in the UAE, starting a Crypto Trading venture for a business house to introducing new Telecom, Software & Gaming ventures in Nigeria and South Africa, we are uniquely positioned to take your business to the next level of growth. We are a product and brand neutral consultancy with a core focus on opening new channels and markets.
I have travelled across the world and made some great friends & contacts, high up on my bucket list is to visit Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and a once in a lifetime trip across South America; all suggestions are welcome. I am also a buff for reading and writing and have contributed to several industry journals and magazines plus a regular at medium.com and my personal blog on LinkedIn. I have recently started two high impact YouTube Channels that are a repository of wisdom for business leaders as well as the youth. One of these channels is in my native Urdu language and is called “Pearls of Voices” and the one in English is titled, “Najib’s Originals”. I am perpetually in search of business leaders who would come and share their experiences with this newbie media guy and leave something for the leaders of tomorrow.
My first novel co-authored with a friend is in the cold storage waiting for a miracle to get published as well.
